Officials, like Louisiana Public Service Commissoner Clyde Holloway and Administrative Law Judge Valerie Seals Meiner have agreed that the proposed Cleco sale is not in the public interest.
Many Louisiana citizens also agree that this deal is not good for the people of Louisiana.
